I felt like I was so high up in the sky
Failed efforts of hoping to fly

I thought i could really play pro ball
Useless efforts cause on my back i always fall

You'd think life would throw a dog a bone
So it wouldn't have to hear it wine and groan

To your equilibrium life can do things
When your elevated life can watch you fall by cutting of your wings

Cause the harder you will fall the higher you are
When you look down you see that the fall is far

But I owe it to life for showing me pain
No getting my hopes up high cause now i can refrain
